Springbok Model Boat Club is a small, friendly club based on the lake here at Care Ashore.
A sociable gathering of mainly retired individuals (although all are welcome) meets on a Tuesday and Friday morning from 9 am until 12 noon and shares an interest in model boats of all types.
As well as meeting on Tuesdays and Fridays, the club holds a few regatta days, and there are other events held in the area.
The club welcomes new members. As well as the use of the lake for sailing, membership also includes the use of the bar and social areas in the Main House (subject to bar opening), as well as free parking and toilets. Disabled access is available too.
